Everest Base Camp Trek begins couple of days after you arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport followed by warm reception from our office representatives and transfer to hotel for leisure activities. Initially we will be going for sightseeing around UNESCO world heritage sites like Kathmandu durbar square, Swayambhunath stupa, Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa in Kathmandu valley. Then next day early morning we board a short domestic flight towards Lukla airstrip, the starting point of our trekking activity. After arriving at Lukla, we meet our Sherpa crew and start our journey towards Everest base camp. We walk through several Sherpa villages like Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche and finally reach Everest Base Camp. We also visit Kala Patthar for beautiful sunset/sunrise view over the Himalayan range. After arriving at Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar we return back same route towards Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu with awesome collective moments altogether. Best season to join for Everest base camp trek is during the months of spring and autumn when the skies are usually clear with less chances of rain and more exploring opportunities.

Everest Base Camp Trek can be done by any traveler, adventure enthusiasts along with their, friends, family and loved ones regardless any risks of acute mountain sickness is for all travel and trekking enthusiasts. You should not be experienced hiker, however if you have passion towards trekking / hiking with ability to walk for 5-6 hours a day, you can definitely make it. Therefore it is recommended to practice some cardio exercises prior trip so that your body adapts the conditions easily. Itinerary Overview

  • Day  1:  Arrival day in Kathmandu.Overnight at hotel.

    Day  2:  Kathmandu: Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley.

    Day  3:  Fly to Tenzing and Hillary Airport in Lukla (2804 m) from Kathmandu,trek to Phakding (2610 m), 3 hours.Overnight at hotel.

    Day  4:  Trek to Namche Bazaar (3441 m) 5 hours. Overnight at hotel.

    Day  5:  Acclimatization day – Namche Bazaar. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 6:  Trek to Tengboche Monastery (3860 m), 5 hours. Overnight at hotel.

    Day  7:  Trek to Dingboche (4350 m) 6 hours. Overnight at hotel.

    Day  8:  Day trip to Chhukung valley (4710 m) and trek back to Dingboche, 4hours. Overnight at hotel.

    Day  9:  Trek to Lobuche (4910 m),  5 hours. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 10:  Trek to Everest Base Camp (5365 m) then back to Gorak Shep, 8 hours.Overnight at hotel.

    Day 11:  Hike up to Kalapatthar (5555 m) early in the morning then trek down to Periche (4200 m), 7 hours. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 12: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3441 m), 6 hours. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 13:  Trek to Lukla (2804 m), 6 hours. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 14:  Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu in the morning. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 15:  Souvenir and sightseeing in Kathmandu.Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.

    Day 16:  Final departure.
