Sherpa Village Trek

Sherpa Village Trek is a short and moderate type tented camping trekking at most popular Everest region in Nepal. In just two weeks of time you will get to experience best of cultures, traditions, sightseeing and magnificent views of world’s highest Himalayas. Sherpa Village Trek initiates a day after your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport followed by sightseeing around culturally affluent Kathmandu valley. Initially we will be visiting UNESCO world heritage sites Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa followed by Pashupatinath temple and Boudhanath during end of the day. Then we board a short flight towards Lukla airstrip from Kathmandu which is the starting point of our Sherpa Village Trek. We meetup our Sherpa crew and start our journey towards Chumoa in the first day of trekking. We reach popular Sherpa Village Namche Bazar next day as we will get great opportunity to witness best of Sherpa Himalayan culture and tradition here. Also setting up a tented camp around foothills of Himalayas adds an extra adventure to our trek. Then one day is reserved as acclimatization day as it is very necessary to let our body adapt according to higher altitudes. Ascending further for couple of days by setting camp at Thame, Khumjung and Phortse we arrive at Tengboche, one of the popular site in Everest trekking trail. There we visit ancient monastery, get insights on their tradition, rituals and lifestyle. And during our Sherpa village trek we will get outstanding views of high Himalayas including Lhotse, Nuptse, Amadablam and top of the world Mt. Everest. We descend the same route towards Namche, Luka and board a flight back to capital city of Kathmandu.

Sherpa Village Trek can be joined during any time of the year, however, the autumn and spring seasons are regarded as the best ones. Itinerary Overview

• Day 01 Arrive Kathmandu. Upon arrival, meet assist and transfer to hotel.Remaining day at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
  Day 02 After breakfast sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city and Swayambhunath. After lunch sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath and Bodhnath. Overnight at Hotel.
  Day 03 Transfer to airport. Fly Kathmandu / Lukla. Meet by Sherpa team and start 10 days Sherpa Village Trek to Chumoa. Overnight camping.
  Day 04 Trek to Namche. Overnight camping.
  Day 05 Rest / Acclimatization day. Overnight camping.
  Day 06 Trek to Thame. Overnight camping.
  Day 07 Trek to Khumjung. Overnight camping.
  Day 08 Trek to Phortse. Overnight camping.
  Day 09 Trek to Tengboche. Overnight camping.
  Day 10 Trek to Namche. Overnight camping.
  Day 11 Trek to Lukla. Overnight camping.
  Day 12 End trek and fly Lukla / Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel. Remaining day at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
  Day 13 After breakfast sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur City. Afternoon at leisure for rest or self explortion of Kathmandu city.
  Eve: Farewell dinner at Nepalese Restaurant with cultural programme.
  Overnight at Hotel.
  Day 14 Transfer to airport for onward flight.
