Fly in Drive out Tibet tour starts as we make our journey from Kathmandu to Lhasa in a round trip. We usually fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa, explore roof of the world and return Kathmandu on a road-drive. After arrival at economic, cultural and political hub of Tibet, Lhasa, we will discover Sera monastery, Jokhang temple, Barkhor Street, Potala palace, Drepung monastery and Norbulinka palace. After exploring Lhasa, we head 260 kilometer further southwest towards Gyantse where we visit Gyantse kumbum and Pelkor Chode followed by 90 kilometers further drive to Shigatse. Nextday, we will drive towards Xegar via Sakya monastery on the route. Sakya monastery exhibits the true color of Sakya Buddhism. Finally we will then arrive at Zhangmu, cross Nepal-Tibet border via Friendship Bridge and drive to Kathmandu which ends our short and easy fly in drive out Tibet Tour.

Itinerary Overview

• Day 01 Kathmandu / Lhasa. On arrival, meet, assist ad transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure for rest and acclimatization. Overnight at Hotel.
  Day 02 Visit Sera monastery; Jokhang temple & Barkhor Street. Overnight at Hotel.
  Day 03 Visit Potala palace; Drepung monastery & Norbulingka. Overnight at Hotel.
  Day 04 Drive 260kms soutwest of Lhasa to Gyantse. Overnight at Gyantse hotel.
  Day 05 AM: Visit Gyantse kumbum & Pelkor Chode. PM: Drive 90 kms away from Gyantse to Shigatse. Overnight at Shigatse Hotel.
  Day 06 Drive to Xegar via Sakya monastery. Overnight at Qomolangma hotel.
  Day 07 Drive 250 kms away from Xegar to Zhangmu. Overnight at Zhangmu hotel.
  Day 08 Drive to Nepal / Tibet boarder and then to Kathmandu.
