Weather & Season Info of Nepal
Basically there are five main seasons in Nepal summer, monsoon, spring, autumn and winter respectively. And weather changes accordingly.
Late December, January, and February are winter months when temperature declines and extreme cold at northern regions. But festival tours, special Nepal highlights tours are best experienced during winter.
Whereas, during March, April and May months of spring season is one of the best time to visit Nepal especially when the magical rhododendron blooms over the forests. It is best time for expeditions and peak climbing. Temperature and weather conditions are just perfect.
Likewise, June, July and August is monsoon season which is low season with clouds, rains and muds. However, it is best time for nature lovers and keen botanists with huge discounts at hotels. Even in this time rain shadowed areas like Upper Mustang can be visited. It’s around roof of the world which is above clouds. No rain there.
Similarly, September, October and November is the best and peak season to visit Nepal for tours and trekking acitivities. With clear mountain views avoiding rain, popular trekking regions like Annapurna and Everest almost gets quite booked up.
